Here are some Frequently Asked Questions regarding our "Listen Here" page. If your question is not addressed, send us an email or stop by our church for more information.
Does it cost anything to download an Audio File? No. All of the files in the Listen Here section are FREE to listen to in your web browser or from your computer or device. If you care to make a donation, please click the link to the right.
How do I download an Audio File to my computer? If you want to save the file to your computer, simply right-click on the file (blue link) and select "Save File As." Based on your Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) you may be prompted with an option to choose where you will save the file on your computer. However, normally, the file will save to your computer's "Download" folder by default.
Does listening to the Sermon take up space on my Computer? No. When you listen to the sermon, it does not take up space. However, if you choose to download the file, it will take up some space. The file size is listed in the file description. On average, a typical sermon is about 20 MB. If yo are accessing the files via a tablet or smartphone, be mindful of data restrictions if you are not on a wifi network. Also, any device will reqire bandwidth in order to download and listen to the audio. Because these fles are quite larger than standard mp3s, be careful to limit the number of dowloads being run at once. Several downloads at once will reduce compter and internet speeds.
Can I send a copy of the file to my friend? Yes, please do! We encourage the spreading of the Word in any format! All we ask is that you give credit to our congregation for the production of the audio file so that the listener can contact us for more information.
Are the files copyrighted? Yes, they are. No part of any audio file is available to be used for commercial gain, political support, or business enterprise by anyone. The files are intended to be kept in their completed form, as made available on this website, so we ask you to not split up sections of the files or decompile them in any way. This includes taking clips of the files for reuse. However, in keeping with Christ's command to spread the Word to all nations, please feel free to pass on the files to anyone and everyone you come in contact with. You may make as many digital copies as you would like. We encourage the use of MP3 players, cd's, and so on for the use of outreach. So basically, you can pass on the files to others, as long as they are kept in their complete form and not used for restricted purposes. For further information regarding the use of the file, please send us an email or stop by.

What do I do if I can't play and audio file in my browser? The files are set to play in a program called Quicktime. Files may take several minutes to load and begin playing, based on many factors (file size, Internet speed, computer memory, available space, open programs, etc.). If after a few minutes, the audio does not play, you may need to download/install a new version of Quicktime. However, you can always download the file and listen to it through your computer's default media player (iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc.).
The file is playing, but I do not hear any sound. First, make sure that the speakers and/or head phones are plugged into the computer and that the volume is turned up and not muted. If you are using powered speakers, make sure they are plugged into a power source and turned on. If this still does not work, refresh the page to reload the audio file. If it still doesn't work, you may have technical problems with the audio card of you computer. Consult your computer's manual or help section for more help. Please contact us if the error only occurs with one file and not another.
Can I put these files on a CD or MP3 player? Yes. You can put these files on any external device. For information on how to do this, consult your "help" section of your syncing program (iTunes, Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, etc.).
Can I play these audio files on my smartphone? Yes. We have a mobile version of this site available for smartphones. However, based on your carrier's data plan, be aware of your usage. The average size of an audio file is 20 MB. If you are unsure of how much data usage you are allowed per pay cycle, we recommend you connect your smartphone to a wifi network when accessing the files to avoid fees.
