Praise the Lord, Oh My Soul

In an ever-changing world, we are forced to adapt to our surroundings. The "Dot-Com" bubble of the late 90's forced hundreds of businesses to adapt to this emerging new technology: the Internet. Many businesses who failed to adapt to, and in fact embrace this new avenue of sales and marketing are no more today. A few hundred years ago, the invention of the printing-press allowed for books to be mass-distributed as never before. The invention of the Telegraph a few hundred years later allowed for messages to be exchanged over long distances in real-time. Yes, times change.

But one thing that has not changed and will never change is the Word of God. Over time and through multiple translations, we know that God has kept his Word intact for us today and for generations to come.

Every service we join with all saints everywhere to praise the Lord, to acknowledge our need for him, and to receive the forgiveness of sins that only God can provide.

At Hope, our messages are relevant to today. Each week, Pastor Henning gives a message based on a segment of text from the Bible. Sometimes this is based on the season of year (Christmas, Easter, etc.). Other times, Pastor Henning delivers messages in series. These series share a common theme for a number of weeks, yet are not built on one another like episodes in a sitcom. You will still hear a relevant, appropriate message even if you miss one.

Staying true to the Word of God is important for a congregation. And so we also rely on in-depth Bible Study to be able to break down the meanings of the scriptures and its applications for our lives.

We invite you to join us for one of our Sunday Morning services at 9:00 a.m.

And check our site often for new message series and recorded sermons.
